Critique an Article 2-3 pages

Assignment Description:
It is important for you to learn how to write about another author’s work. That is different from writing down exactly what the author wrote. Your review should not read as though you are the author of the article or material. You are the reviewer of the article, and your review should read as a review. When you proofread your review, if it reads as though you are the author of the article or material, your style of writing is not appropriate. The reader should clearly understand the difference between the author’s contribution and your interpretation and evaluation of that contribution. Under no circumstance should you copy material from an article and represent it as your own work. If you need to quote briefly from an article to make a point, be sure to put the quotation in quotation marks, and give the page number of the quote.
The student will critique the assigned journal article. As indicated above in Tasks to Complete you will read the article assigned by the first letter of your last name. Critiquing an article other than those assigned above will not be accepted. Your paper will be divided into three sections that must have the following three subheadings which include: 1.) Introduction 2.) Methodology and Results 3.) My impressions of the article. In your Introduction section you will inform the reader that you intend to review an article giving the title of the article and author(s). State the overall purpose of the article. What was the main theme of the article? What new ideas or information were communicated in the article? Why is it important to publish these ideas? In the Methodology and Results section you can address what methods the author used to reach their conclusions. Was it a qualitative or quantitative study? What were the basic results or findings from the research? If this is an opinion article where did the author get the information to formulate his or her opinions or results? In the My Impressions of the Article section you address your impressions of the usefulness of the article. Did the article make logical sense? What were the strengths and weakness of the article? Were there contradictions in the article? Were the conclusions valid? Do you agree with the conclusions why or why not?

This assignment addresses the formal analysis and critique of a journal article. Additional references must be used  to support your critique position. The paper will be 2-3 pages in length, excluding cover page, references, and appendix (if applicable). The paper must be APA format 6th ed., using peer-reviewed journals. Wikipedia or dictionary sites are unacceptable references. Peer-reviewed articles are located within professional organization periodicals such as American Nurse Association journal. They allow other peers to critique submitted articles.
I need to address some issues with assignment number 2. The assignment instructions were very clear that students were to critique the assigned article using the first letter of their last name. It was mentioned more than once and in bold type. You did not critique the article you were assigned. You were assigned the article : A systematic review of mentoring nursing students in clinical placements. It was clear in the instructions that submissions submitted other than the assigned articles would not be accepted. Also, I looked at the submission and I noted that there was not the correct amount of content which was three full pages minimum and there were no subheadings and you were required to have 10 subheadings. If you choose to complete the assignment per the instructions using the article you were assigned I will accept it but must have it no later than May 3rd.
